Athena
Inspired by the Greek Goddess Athena. Goddess of wisdom, crafts, and war.
A walk through the art:
The crescent moon on the hilt symbolizes the divine feminine and reflects Athena’s connection to the night.
In mythology the Athene Noctua, or 'little owl', is often seen close to Athena. In deeper mythology the owl is thought to once have been Nyctimene, daughter to Eopoeus who was a King of Lesbos. After a series of cruel events suffered by Nyctimene, Athena took pity on her and turned her into a owl.
Twin arrows adorn the crest, symbolizing Athena's association with warfare, archery, and her tactical expertise.
The handles feature the Greek key pattern, a timeless motif representing infinity, unity, and the eternal flow of life, perfectly aligning with Athena’s immortal wisdom and the enduring values of Greek culture.
Materials: Steel and zinc blend (nickel and lead-free)
Dimensions: 6.5 inches long
