Eye of Elena Locket
Officially licensed Throne of Glass pendant.

With inspiration taken from the pages of Throne of Glass and Kingdom of Ash.

I used the information from the novels to create the design. My vision differs from the majority of existing fan art, but I put a lot of thought into it - to the point where I made the design both ways. One with the circles side by side and a second with the circles stacked. I even asked the publisher/editors opinion, to which she replied with a sagely vague "I think you should choose which you think is best." I settled on trusting my instincts and went side by side. Which I know makes it lose the "eye" shape in the middle, but this is why I did it.

The circles represent the Three Faced Goddess so it seems logical that the three faces would be horizontal and not stacked vertically. During its fictional creation in the novels its written that the blue stone, the Witch Mirror, was inlaid into The Lock as a representation of the "Third Eye", which gives the knee jerk impression that a third eye would be flanked on its left and right by the two other eyes (which I subtly added with beveling on this design).

Giving the final concept behind this design being the three faces of the Goddess horizontally entwined with one another, each with an eye. The blue stone, the Witch Mirror, laid in the center as the third eye, and the line through the middle (hard to capture in the photograph) as indicated in the novels. I added a filigree frame for a decorative effect and chose a circle shape, rather than oval, to give it more of the warped metal shape aesthetic. And finally, a locket, to represent it being "The Lock".
