Cerbie’s Hair-Sword
Cerbie’s Sword is inspired by the Greek Cerberus. Cerberus was a mythic three-headed hound who guards the gates of the underworld.
A walk through the art:
The hilt features a three-headed pup lounging across a crescent moon. At its feet, piles of bones and skulls rest in casual offering, a symbol of Cerberus’ role as the gatekeeper.
The handle is shaped like a dog bone,
Wrapped around the hilt is a chain that fastens with a heart-shaped padlock, binding themes of love, protection, and eternal loyalty.
The curved blade carries a full moon phase design with the full moon marked by a single puppy paw print pressed at the center.
Materials: Made from durable zinc alloy, nickel and lead free
Dimensions: Measures six (6) inches long
Uses: while it is designed to be a hair-stick, hair-sword, or hair-dagger, it can also be used as an athame, altar decor, letter opener, bookmark, decor for a potted plant, a prop for an art doll, or tucked into a belt, thigh garter, or hat band. I'm sure there are even more ways to slay.
