Hekate French Barrette
Inspired by the Greek Goddess Hekate. Triple Moon Goddess of crossroads, night, the moon, and magic.
A walk through the art:
At the heart of the barrette lies a triple moon symbol, representing the waxing crescent, full moon, and waning crescent phases. This motif honors Hekate’s role as a goddess of the moon and her connection to its cycles. Surrounding the moon, a skeletal key motif highlights her role as the keeper of the underworld’s gates, symbolizing transformation and the magic of unlocking life’s mysteries.
Centered within the triple moon is a Strophalos, a circular symbol tied closely to Hekate’s divination and crossroads magic. This emblem represents her ties to the underworld and her command over transitions and cycles. Flanking either side of the design are torches, which honor her guidance through darkness and her role as a light-bringer during nocturnal rituals.
Materials: Steel and zinc. Nickel and lead-free
Size: three (3) inches long and two (2) inches tall
