The Huntress Hair Dagger

Inspired by the Greek Goddess Artemis. Goddess of the moon and the hunt.

A walk through the art:

The pommel is made up of twin arrows resting on a crescent moon. The crescent moon symbolizes the divine feminine. The twin arrows represent the primary tool she used as Goddess of the hunt, her silver bow and arrow.

The handles are the other half of Artemis's weapon of choice, a bow (turned at a 90 degree angle)

Running up the blade are the paw prints of Artemis’s loyal hunting dogs leading up to their prey, the stag silhouetted on hilt.

Materials: Zinc and galvanized steel alloy; nickel and lead-free

Size: 6.5 inches long

Uses: while it is designed to be a hair-stick, hair-sword, or hair-dagger, it can also be used as an athame, altar decor, letter opener, bookmark, decor for a potted plant, a prop for an art doll, or tucked into a belt, thigh garter, or hat band. I'm sure there are even more ways to slay.
